I absolutely love the beautiful soft leather and the subtle smell of this bag. I would describe this as a hand bag with backpack straps, it’s not weight bearing and I wouldn’t want to carry much in it. The back pack straps are thin and not double stitched; I wouldn’t say this bag could carry much weight in it, such as lap top, books or tablet. There are two carry handles at the top, which feel a bit more secure when lifting the bag compared to the straps.
There are two main compartment, one with a zip that opens only at the top and one that opens all the way round and goes to near the base. The base of the bag has a lovely thick piece of leather on it and the straps are attached to this. The zips are a bit stiff and do catch a bit so aren’t smooth running. Inside the bag, it is lined with a soft cotton and there is a small zipped compartment at the back, which I put my keys in). On the front of the bag is a small pocket which is closed by a magnet fastener. I really don’t like this as it’s not very strong and it tends to pull open so I don’t feel safe putting anything in this pocket, also the magnet is not attached well and I feel that it would destroy the leather if I tried to keep it closed.
This bag arrived a day earlier than expected so very happy with that.
I really like this bag, but it is quite expensive and I don’t feel like it is designed to last that long. The leather is buttery soft which I absolutely love, but there are a few visible blemishes on the leather and I think it will mark quite easily in the rain or if it’s put on the floor.
