About 5 years ago, yes 5…I was at ROSS and came across this super cute wristlet wallet I fell in love this. It was a Sakroots brand. It was $25 and was like well if it doesn’t last me that long at least it’s not too pricy. Until then I have never heard of this brand. Well when I got home my partner saw the wallet and loved it. I knew there wasn’t another one at Ross bc that’s the only one I had saw so I came on here to my trusty Amazon!! I found the brand and exactly the same pattern wallet I had just bought. It was $50 of course and not $25 but figured if there was any issues it would happen within the 30 day window.
Skip forward 4 years later. My partners zipper broke in hers which was her fault bc she packs so much stuff in it. She hate a handbag so she uses a bigger wristlet. So it breaking was in her not the product. I have been using mine since the day I bought it no issues. Well this pattern isn’t available anymore by the company and she loves it so i ask her does she want a different pattern or mine. She wants mine So I end up buy myself a Coach Wristlet wallet and give her my Sakroots one.
Skip to this year…she is still using my Sakroots and about a month ago, I’ll let u guess what happened…. Yup she broke another zipper 🤦🏼♀️ Well she’s not about to get my coach wristlet lol so I come on here and look up Sakroots and tell her to find me she likes. Well she didn’t like any pattern she looked at, which is her and she hates shopping rather it’s In store or online lol so I order a few other wallet brands she saw on here through Prime Wardrobe and I ordered 2 wallets I liked 1- was this wallet I’m reviewing. I loved the black and white with the Owl pattern and I ordered a Vera Bradley wallet I liked. The Prime Wardrobe order comes in and low and behold she doesn’t like NONE of the wallets she picked BUT LOVES the Sakroots one I ordered 🤣 I honestly figured she would after I ordered it so not even an hour later I ordered the exact same one so I’d have it for myself bc I just knew she was going to want it lol
Needless to say, this brand is AMAZING and really last a LONG time, as long as ur not like my partner and stuff it full and break the zipper. Lol We’ve had our first Sakroots wallet for 5 years and the color is just as vibrant and they’ve been washed a few times on genital in a garment bag FYI. So they do last. I actually kept both that she broke the zipper on and I’m going to see if I can find someone to replace the zipper for me bc it’s just my favorite pattern and they don’t make it anymore. I don’t want to let it go lol they both have plenty of life in them.
So yes these are a little more money but u get what u pay for and THEY LAST!!
